All I Want for Christmas

Posted By on Dec 10, 2016 |

Christmas is supposed to be a pleasant time of year for everyone. Lately it seems that our world is full of turmoil and sad events happening. So all I want for Christmas is a day of peace. I think we all need to remember that regardless of race, sexuality or religion we are all human and should be treated as such. Everyone from the wealthy executive to the low-income housekeeper deserves a day of peace and time to enjoy the families that they have.

Are you at peace?

Have you experienced a truly happy moment? A moment where you look at the world around you and see happiness, love, civil communication and friendliness? I haven’t seen it a long time. It seems every Christmas families all over are making the sacrifice to have a loved one fighting a war, family members who have to work, or the threat of terrorism is so high that we can’t enjoy our time.

Do you have it in your heart to sit back relax, and enjoy the time you have with your friends and family? Can you past the unhappy things happening in the world right now, the missing or lost loved ones, or the economic state of your business and just enjoy the time with your family that you have. Tomorrow is never guaranteed and Christmas is the birth of Jesus who forgives us all for our sins, it’s time to set our turmoil aside and love each other as the humans that we are.

Enjoy your time of peace, how about not working?

Christmas is the time of year that everyone’s faces light up, people are polite to one another. It’s time to stop worrying about the things we can’t change and accept them for what they are. Remember that not everyone get’s the opportunity to spend the holidays with their loved ones. So if you get that chance be sure to put everything but the moment aside and enjoy your family.

Working at Christmas in the Office

So you have to work on Christmas

While the big rich CEO of the company you are working for gets to go home and spend the day with their family and children while you continue to serve the public. Well make the best of it and don’t take it out on the customers. Try to smile, enjoy the holiday and remember to be at peace with yourself and those around you. Don’t let your customers know that you are stuck working the holiday while your silver spoon in his mouth boss takes the holiday off.

Remember that your customers don’t want to come into the stores any more than you wan to be. However there will always be closed minded people who believe that you are their servant.

Thank your customers/clients for their dedication to you. Greet them with a smile, and remember they would rather be with their loved ones instead they are traveling for dinner, out to get last minute batteries or they just need a drink.

Our world is at war with someone at all times. We are trying to save the world while forgetting what faith, family and friends built this great nation that we live in. People work long hours and work holiday that hey don’t want, just to make a dollar.
If you are the big wig CEO of this company, I would recommend that your employees get the day to spend with Christmas.
